Meade County Angel Ministry

  We would like to take this opportunity to give you a little more detail on who and what we are.

Mission of Meade County Angel Ministry:  Our mission is to provide relief to needy families within Meade County, KY with Christmas gift and School supply assistance.  We believe that we should serve the people in our community with a grateful heart during their "season of need".

​

Our organization is a non-profit that falls under the Meade County Ministerial Association.  We have several community partners and without the help of these community partners we would not be able to accomplish our mission with the ease that we do.  We are grateful for the support of our programs and hope to continue to grow our partnerships in the years to come.

Our organization is run solely on a volunteer basis.  We have less than a 5% operating cost so that means that 95%+ of everything that comes to us through donation or fundraising goes back into our programs.  We are proud that we are able to do this and we know that it is only because of the generosity of our volunteers that help us that we are able do this.  We truly have some of the most  angelic people volunteering for our organization and it is amazing what we have been able to accomplish over the last 6 years.

In our 2017 Christmas program, we helped over 2000 children wake up to a Christmas morning with gifts under their tree.  There is no way to describe the feeling we get as volunteers to see a room filled with gifts for that many children and to know that there are others out there that we did not know about who won't wake up with something under their tree.  But, to know that we helped so many makes every minute away from our own families worth it!
